Roquefort with pear
A simple but perfect match
Ingredients
1 pear,
1 part vinegar,
4 parts water,
sugar,
100 grams Roquefort cheese,
Instructions
Peel a firm pear and cut it into four pieces. Disregard the core and boil the pear pieces in a mixture of vinegar and water with some sugar, until done. Cool down.
Cut the roquefort cheese in four pieces and place each piece on a small plate.
Place each quarter pear on the cheese and serve with a glass of red wine.
