Risotto with Asparagus

The best Italian rice variety, the Carnaroli, is

used for the risotto mixes of Dr. Scotti. The rice is mixed only with natural ingredients, with no preservatives added. Our current variety contains Carnaroli rice, asparagus, onion, seasoning, parsley and is gluten free.

The gourmet rice mix can be prepared as a home made creamy risotto without any further ingredients needed. And it is easy to prepare: Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large saucepan. Add the content of the bag and 2 tablespoons of white wine. Pour water (or stock) little by little and add salt. Stir in and cook for about 16-18 minutes. At the end of cooking, a knob of butter and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese may be added if desired.
