Le Petit Doruvael is developed in the 'green heart' area just east of the centre of the Netherlands.
The cheese is made from first-quality raw milk to which a special culture, known as 'red-bacteria' is added.
The color of Le Petit Doruvael is red-orange and this young cheese is creamy and soft in taste. It could be seen as the Dutch Port Salut.
A fine choice for after dinner with a nice glass of dessert wine.
In order to comply with US FDA regulation for export to the USA the maturation of this cheese has been extended to over 60 days.
