Maaslander Matured has a creamy and rich flavor and a low salt content. It's creamy and mature flavor is due to the very severe quality demands. Those quality demands determine which cheese obtains the red-yellow label.
Red-yellow Maaslander is very exellent on sandwiches, as a snack and also in warm and cold dishes. Besides Maaslander Matured there is also green-yellow Maaslander, Maaslander mild, with a soft, full and creamy flavour.
