Keen's Cheddar
Traditional Farmhouse Cheddar is made by the Keen Family at Moorhayes Farm in Somerset, UK since 1899. The cheddar is made with milk produced by the cows on the farm, using a recipe which has been passed down through the generations.
Using raw cow's milk the cheese will have more character than that of a cheese made with pasteurised milk; all the natural flavors are kept in the milk. The Keen’s traditional round cloth bound truckle Cheddar Cheese is after 12 months of maturing a cheese with a complex nutty flavor; a sweet, creamy, and rich cheese.
The Keen Family has received many award with their unique cheddar; they were twice the winner of the Best Cheddar at the World Cheese Awards held in London.
