Echte Loo is a Trappist-type cheese with a easy to recognize black 'rind' and an ivory colored paste.

Petrus is a typical Belgian cheese; made according to a long tradition in the Old Abbey Lo. This is the same Abbey that made Echte Loo cheese.
Petrus has a soft and creamy flavor, not very complex. The round cheese has a dark orange 'rind' and a mild aroma. The cheese is made of pasteurized cow's milk.
In Belgium this cheese is popular on sandwiches, as a snack and in combination with one of the Belgian beers....
